Staircase Services
 | | BUY ONLINEShould you want to purchase any of our staircases online you will need to know certain measurements which relate to the area in which the product is to be installed. You should be able to find all the information you need within each staircase section. You will then be able to go on to add your staircase to your shopping basket then click on 'accessories' for additional components you may require for your staircase. Proceed to checkout and input your payment details. You will then receive a phone call from us to check your order and complete any transaction if necessary we will also introduce ourselves to make ourselves available to you should you need further help during delivery or installation.

 | | HELPLINEWe operate a helpline which you can use when selecting your staircase and also if you have any questions regarding delivery or installation. Our team will be happy to help during our standard opening hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Tel: 0845 456 1088.

 | | MEASURING AND DRAWING SERVICEMost of our customers come to us with drawings with the required dimensions for a staircase project and we will then supply a quotation and then technical drawings of the staircase. If you do not have prepared drawings of the project then we can produce these for you. We offer a measuring and architectural drawing service, the cost of this in most cases (determined by geography) is £250 + VAT. We also offer free advice on our helpline 0845 456 1088.

 | | CIRCULAR FORMERSWe can provide hand made custom built circular timber formers to your required specification. The former is constructed of two circular plywood rings (the size of which is dictated by the diameter of your staircase plus a minimum gap all round of 50mm) separating the two plywood rings are 50 x 25mm battens set at 100mm spacing, we provide additional battens to one eighth of the former as a provision for the top step fixings. We then clad the battens with 4mm birch finished plywood. We also supply loose, an additional 4mm Birch wood liner which is oversized, This is to be fitted to the inside of the former once it has been fixed in position to cover the screws/fixings. This is to be scribed and fitted by the installer.

 | | INSTALLATION SERVICEThe majority of our kit staircases are supplied with full installation instructions and some with a video/DVD. All can be fitted by a competent individual with the correct tools. Many of our customers decide to undertake the installation themselves, whilst others prefer to employ a skilled craftsman such as a builder or joiner.
Further to this The Wooden Hill Company offers an installation service, we can install anywhere that we can travel to and from in a day from Surrey for £495.00 + VAT for a basic staircase. Installations are performed all over the country but prices are on application, our team completes most single staircase installations in a day.
